Hugh Comerford is Managing Director of The Stage Media Co. He joined the company in 2012 following periods at other media groups such as Thomson Financial, Emap, now Ascential, and Relx. He also spent 10 years practising as a criminal barrister. In 2020 the company acquired Bookseller Media and now publishes in print and online and runs events under The Bookseller and The Stage brands. His first job in the media was as a reporter for William Reed, publisher of The Grocer.
