Ollie joined Diversified in 2019 following their acquisition of his company Exposure Media Ltd and Digital Construction Week (DCW). He has over 15 years’ experience in the publishing and events industry having started his career at UBM in 2007. In the early 2010’s he helped develop and grow new revenue opportunities for UBM’s newly launched Client Solutions team, took a range of virtual events to market, and ran a number of successful conference and awards programmes before taking on the role of Head of Sponsorship within their built environment division.
In 2015 Ollie left UBM to launch DCW and Exposure Media Ltd of which he was co-founder and director. As a small team, Ollie and his business partner were responsible for all aspects of managing the business and growing a successful event brand. DCW grew year on year and quickly moved from the Business Design Centre to ExCel London in 2017. Following the success of the event they were acquired by Diversified Communications. Ollie was heavily involved in the acquisition and integration of the business.
He was retained by Diversified and now works as a Portfolio Director. He runs two events GEO Business and DCW, has launched a number of brand extensions including a digital offering and awards programme. And, in addition is exploring a number of international opportunities. Including the launch of DCW in Australia alongside Diversified’s Design Build event.
